2006-2015 NC MX5 Differential Rebuild

Your differential is torn down and inspected. All bearings and seals are replaced. The ring and pinion is inspected and goes through our blueprinting process. A new ring and pinion can be installed if one is provided. LSD is inspected and blueprinted if applicable, or a new LSD is installed if one is provided.

Options:

1. Shot Peening of the ring and pinion. This increases surface strength, oil retention on the gear teeth, and reduces heat. $ 200
2. Cryo Treatment of the ring and pinion. This drastically increases the strength of the ring and pinion and will allow for more power and torque than a naturally aspirated 2.0L or 2.5L. $ 200

Note: When rebuilding a differential without replacing the ring and pinion the differential can end up being a little noisier than before the rebuild due to not having the gear pattern match 100%. This is normal and racing customers won't notice at all, but those that use their car for street driving may.
